Hole Show is a bi-monthly queer drag show and dance party hosted by SHERMAN at the Crystal Ballroom in Somerville, MA. SHERMAN asked me to come up with a hanky to be sold at the 2024 Pride edition of Hole, so for one of my favorite drag shows in Boston I wanted to create something special for repeat Hole-goers. In each corner I created vector illustrations that referenced Hole's last 4 themes: Space, Birds & The Bees, Bones, and T.V.
Dykotomy is a drag thing and alt-drag creature based in Boston, MA. Dykotomy wanted a custom temporary tattoo design that evoked their persona, which pulled influence from D/s kink culture and creatureness. They requested their name in chains, and I happily obliged with a custom digital illustration for their tattoos and stickers.
Sangre Dulce is a Boston-based queer and trans-led production company staging all-Latine, all-king drag shows that center and celebrate Latine identity & queerness, art, and masculinity. Led by Avaryss and Dulce de Leather.
For this exercise, I created two beer can labels for a hypothetical microbrewery and B-Corp called Echocraft Brewery. I designed the company's logo, the hop vector illustration, and created the labels' background paintings.
Vape resin cartridges for Sunnyboi Cannabis, a hypothetical brand offering premium cannabis products by and for cat lovers.
For this exercise, I created a set of logos featuring vector illustrations, a set of vector icons, box packaging for resin cartridges, and a business card design.
Trinity Square Together, a neighborhood coalition based in Providence, RI, asked me to design streetlight banners celebrating Providence community members for their neighborhood beautification project along north Broad Street. I proposed five design ideas for the banners, four of which are highlighted here. The banners were designed in 2021, and installed in 2023.
